SupportFund respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information SupportFund collects, how we use it, when we may share it, and the choices available to you.

This Privacy Policy applies to supportfund.com and related SupportFund services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by School Fundraising Coach, LLC, doing business as SupportFund ("SupportFund," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.

Information You Provide

When you register for or participate in a fundraising campaign, we may collect information such as:

• Name;
• Email address;
• Student or participant name;
• Fundraiser or campaign code; and
• Mobile phone number, if you choose to provide it and receive text messages.

When you make a purchase or donation, we may collect information such as:

• Name;
• Email address;
• Billing address;
• Shipping address, when applicable; and
• Transaction and purchase information.

Payment card information is processed through our payment-processing providers. SupportFund does not use payment card information for marketing purposes.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:

• IP address;
• Browser and device information;
• Operating system;
• Pages visited and actions taken on the Services;
• Date and time of access; and
• Information about how you interact with the Services.

We use this information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services and to understand how the Services are used.

2. How We Use Information

SupportFund may use information we collect to:

• Create and manage accounts;
• Administer fundraising campaigns;
• Process donations and purchases;
• Process and fulfill product orders;
• Communicate with users about fundraising campaigns and transactions;
• Send text messages when a user has opted in;
• Provide customer support;
• Maintain and improve the Services;
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, unauthorized activity, and security issues;
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements; and
• Perform other activities necessary to provide and operate the Services.

We do not sell personal information.

3. How We Share Information

SupportFund may share information when necessary to provide and operate the Services.

We may share information with:

• Schools, teams, clubs, and other organizations conducting fundraising campaigns;
• Fundraising participants, when necessary to administer a campaign or fulfill an order;
• Payment processors and financial service providers;
• Product suppliers and fulfillment providers;
• Email, text-message, hosting, security, analytics, and other technology service providers;
• Professional advisors, such as attorneys, accountants, or auditors; and
• Government authorities or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect SupportFund, our users, or others.

Service providers receive information reasonably necessary to perform the services they provide to SupportFund and are expected to protect that information.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Fundraising Campaign Information

When you participate in a fundraising campaign, certain information about the participant or campaign may be visible to supporters of the campaign as necessary to operate the fundraising program.

The participating school, team, club, organization, or fundraising participant is responsible for the information it provides to SupportFund about a fundraising campaign.

5. Text Messages

If you voluntarily provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from SupportFund, we may use your mobile phone number to send messages relating to fundraising campaigns you are participating in.

We do not sell or rent mobile phone numbers to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

You may opt out of SupportFund text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request assistance by replying HELP or by contacting info@supportfund.com.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

SupportFund may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, maintain user sessions, remember preferences, improve functionality, understand how the Services are used, and help maintain security.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

7. Children's Privacy

SupportFund takes children's privacy seriously.

SupportFund services are not intended for children under 13 to independently participate in fundraising campaigns without authorization from a participating school, team, club, or other organization. However, students under 13 may create a SupportFund user account and participate in a fundraising campaign when their school, team, club, or other participating organization authorizes them as fundraising participants.

When a school or other participating organization authorizes a student under 13 to participate, SupportFund may receive and use information about the student that is reasonably necessary to operate the fundraising campaign, such as the student's name and fundraiser information.

When applicable, SupportFund handles information relating to children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws, including requirements regarding authorization, use, disclosure, security, access, and deletion of information.

SupportFund does not use personal information about children under 13 for targeted advertising. SupportFund does not require more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in a fundraising campaign.

Parents or legal guardians may contact SupportFund to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's personal information, or to request that further collection or use of the information stop, subject to applicable law. SupportFund may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the person making the request.

8. Data Security

SupportFund uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

SupportFund retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer fundraising campaigns and transactions, provide customer support, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we will delete it, de-identify it, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our applicable data-retention practices.

Personal information collected from children under 13 will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the specific purpose for which it was collected and as permitted by applicable law.

10. Your Choices and Access to Your Information

You may update certain account information by logging into your SupportFund account and editing your profile.

You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that SupportFund maintains about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us regarding personal information relating to their child.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

11. Business Transfers

If SupportFund is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the Effective Date.

Changes become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
